TESSUTO

Tessuto is the new and refined contemporary designer radiator inspired by the beauty of classical art and shaped by the most rigorous lines of modern design. Unique and surprising in every environment, this slim radiator was born to give warmth, comfort and elegance through its ability to be itself in an ever new way.

Born from a reflection of the designer Marco Pisati on the textures of fabrics, from the desire to reproduce the warp on the surface of a radiator. The designer has imagined a series of enlarged metal filaments, placed side by side in such a way as to create a dense vertical and syncopated rhythm determining an interesting play of light and shadow that chase each other in a suggestive game.

The production technique is inspired by the screen-printing techniques of contemporary art and, thanks to its deliberately asymmetrical rhythm, Tessuto is capable of creating infinite designs. The project was developed with a system of minimalist accessories, characterised by a sign that expresses extreme lightness, perfectly integrated with the design of the modern radiator.

Marco Pisati

DESIGNER, FASCINATED BY NEW MATERIALS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES, TESTS HIS IDEAS IN THE MOST EXTREME SECTORS: STARTING FROM THE AEROSPACE, DESIGNING INTERIORS BOUND TO THE CONCEPT OF SPACE HABITABILITY IN ABSENCE OF GRAVITY FOR THE ASI (ITALIAN SPACE AGENCY), REACHING THE EARTH’S NOMADIC ONE, REALIZING THE FIRST EXAMPLE OF INTERACTIVE NOMADIC OFFICE (MOTORHOME ACI).

Invited to expose his works at Leopolda Exposition in Florence (“Deep Inside”- Image) he presented with the company Grado Zero Espace, leading brand in the aerospace textile branch, a prototype of a jacket for astronauts in Diaplex (a tissue with a memory of shapes). His experimental design approach leads him to have very different companies as partners.

His experimental planning approach brings him to work with very different brands. He won the Red Dot  Design Award 2017 in the Category “Product Design” with the Lynea product designed for Cordivari Design.
